Krista started at Berrong Insurance in Weatherford, Oklahoma in 2016 after attending SWOSU for Music Education. She fell into insurance after seeing an ad in the Weatherford Daily News job listings and applied by submitting her resume, hand-delivered. She is an Agent for the agency’s Small Business Unit and manages oil & gas, small trucking, construction, and artisan contractor accounts on a regular basis. In November of 2018, Krista transferred to the Edmond, Oklahoma branch when it first opened because she was living in north Oklahoma City at the time. She obtained her CISR designation in 2019 and is continuing on to her CIC designation. Krista is very active in her industry as she currently serves on the Young Agents board and is slated for Chair of the Young Agents Committee for the 2023-2024 term. She was recognized as the Big I Oklahoma “2021 Agency Staff Member of the Year”. She is also an active member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Greater Oklahoma City. With a passion for her industry, she loves to serve in any way that she can.
Krista loves to spend her free time with her husband, Craig, and their son, Asher. With a hobby level passion for music, she has started her own small vinyl collection and also enjoys singing in the car. Since moving to Oklahoma City, Krista has also joined the Craft Beer community and is looking to be active within that industry as well.
