Jeff can still remember “playing insurance agent” when he was 7 years old with his dad, Brad. Jeff would make the living room couch into a desk and use an old typewriter to pretend to take client information and then walk around the house to adjust claims, so it goes without saying that from a young age he always knew he wanted to be involved in the family insurance business.
He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2004 and served as a field representative for former Oklahoma Congressman Dan Boren before returning home to western Oklahoma in 2006 to become a third-generation family partner in the Berrong Insurance Agency.
Jeff loves being an independent insurance agent because he sees it as a way to serve and take care of others. He enjoys finding solutions to complicated coverage situations and reading the details of policy forms and endorsements.
Jeff is very involved in his community where he has served on the board of directors of the Great Plains Family YMCA, the Weatherford Industrial Trust, the Weatherford Rotary Club, the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce, and the Weatherford Area Economic Development Foundation.
He has enjoyed a lifelong interest in public policy, government, history, and politics and currently serves as board chair of the Oklahoma Policy Institute. In addition to insurance and politics, he also knows a lot about Star Trek, Star Wars, and James Bond and is more than happy to discuss those important topics.
Jeff resides in Weatherford with wife Jill and young sons Jack & Jace.
